At Track Components, the production environment is key to the performance of the business. The facility has state of the art systems in place to help strive towards the ultimate aim of maximum efficiency.
These systems include a temperature controlled environment.
All CNC machining cells are networked to maintain a centralised database of programs and machine set up information. This allows machines to be reset efficiently and to provide a repeatable process.
Track Components stock a vast amount of tooling, which creates competitive buying power of consumables which, in turn, reduces component prices and reduces lead times.
All consumable and durable tooling is housed within 2 Kardex storage systems with up to date location functions, enabling staff to access tooling as efficiently as possible. This systems links in to our Production Management Software which monitors inventory levels, maintaining stocks and prompting re-ordering.
Having invested heavily in machine cells, Track Components have utilised inbuilt machine monitoring facilities to manage machine maintenance and minimise unexpected downtime. Further to this, having machine cells “paired” ensures that should a machine break down, we are able to continue production.
